Construction at Laguna Caribe continues steadily, despite the greater than average rainfall experienced in Southwest Florida this summer, and supply chain issues that have affected the entire construction industry this very busy year. Since our last update, we are now nearing completion of the first phase of our sanitary sewer system installation, the first underground utility to go in. After the sanitary system is installed it will be followed by the other utilities (water, drainage, power, and telecommunications), the roads, and the lot improvements.
The bulkhead wall separating our amenity area from the lake is now being installed, after which construction of the pool and spa, bathhouse, the Coral Club Tiki Bar, pool deck, and other amenities will commence. Fortunately we are now heading into Florida’s annual dry season which will speed up construction.
