Lighthouse Beach Park
Lighthouse Beach Park is 52 minutes away from the Laguna Caribe and has public beach access available year-round. The park features 150+ parking spots, a fishing pier, and 44 acres of beach access for plenty of room for your family to relax. Lighthouse Beach Park is the perfect location to soak in the ocean air and set up camp for a day on the water.
Yacht Club Public Beach
37 minutes away from Laguna Caribe, Yacht Club Public Beach is a popular choice with access to a fishing pier, playground, picnic shelters and BBQs. When visiting, you can’t miss the Boat House Tiki Bar and Grill for Happy Hour, live music, local seafood, and classic burgers and fries.
Delnor Wiggins Pass State Park
For great views of the Gulf take a 43-minute drive (34.1 miles) from Laguna Caribe to the Delnor Wiggins Pass State Park. Open every day of the year beginning at 8:00 am, this park is perfect for anyone looking for a peaceful day of sunbathing, kayaking, hiking, birdwatching, fishing, or a lovely local for a picnic, there is even a pavilion available to rent for special occasions. If you’re planning to visit it’s better to arrive early on the weekends, because the park will normally experience closures from 10:00 am – 3:00 pm due to high visitation.
Lover’s Key State Park
Searching for two miles of the untarnished beach? Check out Lover’s Key State Park, a 46-minute drive (35.8 miles) from Laguna Caribe, this beautiful beach has been the backdrop for many wedding and other special events. With over 5 miles of trails to explore, along with beaches, canals, and lagoons, this state park is perfect for whatever outdoor adventure you may be after.
Naples Pier
A 52-minute drive (42.6 miles) from Laguna Caribe, the Naples Pier is the perfect place to watch the sunset. With dolphins and pelicans normally adding to the show, if you want an optimal spot for sunset, it is suggested to get to the pier early. You can spend any extra time there walking on the adjoining beaches or fishing from the pier.
Sanibel/Captiva Beaches
A bit farther of a drive but still only an hour and 11 minutes (40.6 miles), Sanibel Island and Captiva Island are home to several beaches along its coast. Causeway Beach, Tarpon Beach, Tuner Beach, and Captiva Beach are just a few of the beaches to choose from, each the perfect spot for a quiet day of relaxation.
