Construction of Phases 1 and 2 is nearing completion this month. FPL has finally begun their power installation, with live power anticipated in Laguna Caribe by mid-August. Final “punch list” items are being completed by the development team, and checked off for our certification of construction completion to be finished as soon as power is live. The RV lots are being being final graded, plumbed and RV pads paved, now finishing Phase 1 then immediately moving on to Phase 2. Required landscaping including irrigation system, lake trees and sod, and visual-screen hedges is also underway now. The pool and spa shells are complete and installation of pool and spa finishes and equipment is underway, anticipated to finish by the end of summer. The clubhouse compound, consisting of Tiki Bar, pool bathhouse and main clubhouse construction is well underway. The construction of amenities in the northeast corner of our community, including our trailer parking lot, dog park, and pickleball courts, is underway.
As soon as we complete certification of Phases 1 and 2 we can obtain approval and record our plat, then thereafter commence closings of lot sales. Lot rentals (inventory lots) to follow later this fall. Our amenities (Phase 3) other than the main clubhouse are anticipated to open this fall, with the main clubhouse opening coming in early 2023. We have received our club liquor license, and restaurant design approval. We’ll begin staffing our HOA and club management team in September, getting ready for the upcoming “high season” at the end of this year.
