The biggest news is that FPL finally completed installation of the electrical power distribution system for Laguna Caribe earlier this month, which is now the trigger for certification of completion of our infrastructure construction by Lee County, which in turn allows us to record the plat so that we can begin closing lot sales.

In the meantime, while awaiting FPL action, we’ve continued work on our amenities including the clubhouse, pool, pool deck facilities, dog park, and trailer parking lot.  The main clubhouse foundation was poured and the walls are now going up, joining the clubhouse mechanical room and bath house (required to be finished to operate the pool).  The pool deck has been graded, subdrains going in to be followed shortly by planting palms and installation of the pool deck.  After that the final pebble finish can be applied to the pool and get it filled and operating.  The installation of the pickleball courts, bocce courts, and golf putting green continues, while the dog park and trailer parking lot fences are now in place. The second lift of asphalt on the roads was just placed, while landscaping of the lots and common areas is now beginning.

We’re also completing all of the utility connections and installing pedestals, completing the RV pad paving, and otherwise readying our lots for occupancy.

Construction is now finally to the point where it takes little imagination to envision the final finished product.  Though we have a lot of aethestic touches to complete especially with respect to landscaping, and of course, finishing up the clubhouse facility, now anticipated in Spring 2023.

Our two model casitas are finishing up the building permit process and construction on them should start soon at lot numbers 44 and 108.
